Cruising for the Culture
I've come to realize that one of my favorite parts of my brand is the endless supply of stories that have poured in from across the world. Cultures throughout history were always built and unified through the sharing of stories, and especially for the diaspora of Greece living so far from our home, these stories become even more important. That was what drove me to start this initiative, where I began to interview Greek Americans with interesting stories to share with my followers.
The Old School (Το Παλιό Σχολείο)
The Old School (Το Παλιό Σχολείο) is a musical group of Greek Americans based in Chicago that play traditional folk music and American pop in the style of Greek folk music. They play gigs at Greek venues and perform at events such as birthdays and baptisms. They are incredibly talented and felt like a natural first choice for my interviews.

Six06 Cafe Bar is an establishment located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. With a superstar chef from Greece and a unique aesthetic that truly and authentically represents them, I had to do an interview.
